What is your mission and the specific causes you support?

• Task Force Spark is formed as a charitable and educational nonstock corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or the corresponding section of any future federal tax code.  The primary purposes of the corporation are as follows: 1) to foster mental wellness, nurture personal growth, and inspire active living for Active Duty and Veterans through outdoor adventures, 2) to conduct educational activities and workshops to promote awareness and understanding of mental health issues affecting Active Duty and Veterans, and 3) to provide support, resources, and programs that enhance the physical and mental well-being of Active Duty and Veterans.

How can I donate to your charity?

Is my donation tax-deductible, and how does that work?

• • Yes! Your donation is tax-deductible. To claim the tax deduction, please follow the tax laws applicable to your area.

What percentage of donations goes directly to programs and services vs. administrative costs?

• • As a newly formed non-profit our goal is to ensure more than 80% of our donations go to various programs and services.  As an all volunteer non-profit, we strive to minimize administrtive costs so that we can maximize our application of donations to various programs and services that support our mission.

Can I volunteer with your organization, and what opportunities are available?

• • As of right now, Task Force Spark is still preparing to take on volunteers.  Feel free to email us for inquiries at adventures@taskforcespark.org.

How do you measure the impact of your programs?

• • In order to measure the impact of our programs and effectiveness of our charitable initiatives, Task Force Spark is conducting anonymous surveys, and soliciting feedback via open forums.  The information from these reports help us evaluate our efforts and drive future charitable initiatives.

Do you offer scholarships or grants, and how can individuals or organizations apply for them?

• • As of right now, Task Force Spark does not offer any scholarships or grants.  This could change at any time, so please check back periodically.

What are your future goals and plans for the organization?

• Growth! Simply put. Right now the future goals and plans for Task Force Spark are centered around growth - growth in charitable initiatives, growth in variety of charitable activities, and growth in partnerships with those who complement our mission.

Can I host my own event through Task Force Spark?

• For hosting opportunities, please contact us at adventures@taskforcespark.org.

Can I bring my family on hosted events?

• Refer to the event page. Some events will allow families, others will not. This decision is typically driven based on the assessed level of difficulty of the event being hosted.
